The book 'Sorry we were born', is a collection of 49 poems chosen from hundreds of poems written by youngsters who stayed at Shanti Houe.

The boys and girls wrote these poems in order to expose the real story of street children

 This is a unique and emotional human document of those, who so
 bravely decided to share their personal story with the world. These boys and girls went through a process of finding their inner light, strength, faith, forgiveness, love, hope and optimism.
